Looks Like pro skateboarder Tony Hawk finally has something to take down the people that took down his game series “Tony Hawk Pro skater” and by that I mean SKATE. That game changed the way people looked at tony hawk and any other skateboarding games and I was one of those people that couldn’t go back after playing SKATE. Tony Hawk Ride is taking a different approach and I do not mean by using the joysticks. By the looks of RIDE it still has the tony hawk game play of the wild tricks but now you can do them on the wireless skateboard so you can control the moves and no it doesn’t have wheels it’s a blank skate deck. From what I have seen so far is that this game will be a big hit among friends and family taking the same approach as the Wii, Guitar Hero, Dance Dance Revolution and any interactive game. If you a fan of skateboarding I would recommend you at least try it because it’s the closing thing to a skating simulation and for parents it seems like its going to be a Christmas seller. With all of the Interactive games I listed above this is one game that is in a different league. Do not get me wrong it is not the first game of its kind but it is the first for the new next-generation systems. I will work on a hand on review as soon as I can get on one of these boards. Tony Hawk Ride drops into stores and your house on November 17, 2009 so don’t miss out on Tony Hawk Ride and Tony Hawk Ride will be available on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the Nintendo Wii. |
